The Miris Desert is located in the south-eastern part of Ilus.
The Miris Desert is blistering hot and dry in comparison to the rest of Ilus’ climate. The nights are freezing cold.
The shanty town Inanis is located at the edge of the Miris desert. It is near this town where the worst criminal offenders are held before they are sent to the Meris Prison, located far into the desert to prevent prisoners from escaping.
Many venomous and poisonous creatures live in the desert. These creatures mainly consist of giant scorpions, spiked blood lizards, and snakes.
